Kristi Noem’s Rumored Paramour Corey Lewandowski Is Reportedly Out at DHS Following Her Exit

Corey Lewandowski, a close advisor and rumored romantic partner of fired Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, is reportedly out at the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) as well.

According to the New York Post, Lewandowski is expected to get the boot as soon as Senator Markwayne Mullin seizes power as the new DHS Secretary. A White House official told the outlet that they “don’t know who would want him” once Noem is out and Mullin takes over later this month.

Lewandowski was essentially working as Noem’s de facto chief of staff, according to reports. However, his official title is that of an unpaid “special government employee.” As a result, Noem has said he holds no actual power in the DHS.

People reports that rumors of a possible romance between Noem and Lewandowski have plagued the duo for years, dating back to her time as the governor of South Dakota. Despite them both being married to other people, the rumors and speculation, which they’ve both denied, culminated on Wednesday, March 4, when Noem was testifying before the House Judiciary Committee.

Rep. Sydney Kamlager-Dove asked if Noem “had sexual relations with Corey Lewandowski.”

“I am shocked we’re going down and peddling tabloid garbage in this committee,” Noem responded.

President Donald Trump announced Noem’s exit on Thursday, March 5 in a post shared on Truth Social.

“The current Secretary, Kristi Noem, who has served us well, and has had numerous and spectacular results (especially on the Border!), will be moving to be Special Envoy for The Shield of the Americas, our new Security Initiative in the Western Hemisphere we are announcing on Saturday in Doral, Florida,” the Apprentice alum, 79, wrote. “I thank Kristi for her service at ‘Homeland.’”
