King Charles III reportedly wants nothing to do with his disgraced brother, former Prince Andrew – but a source tells the National Enquirer that the ongoing tension is creating ripple effects within the royal family.
The source says that Andrew refuses to go away quietly and is putting up quite a fuss behind the scenes. In return, it’s making life even more uncomfortable for his daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, whom he shares with ex-wife Sarah “Fergie” Ferguson.
“Andrew has no regard for how his actions affect his daughters,” the source explains. “But the reality is, the more he upsets Charles, the more likely it is to torpedo their standing within the family because their dad just continues to drag the York name through the mud.”

The source adds that Charles, 77, just wants to “get as far away from him and any memory of him as possible.”
“He’d love to just shut him out completely, that’s his usual M.O. but in this case he can’t do that because he still has to try and manage Andrew and keep him muzzled,” the source continues. “If he doesn’t placate him a little by taking some of his calls there’s no telling what Andrew will do. But make no mistake, he can’t stand hearing from the guy and would rather not ever have to be reminded of him.”
Unfortunately, this has become an issue for Beatrice, 37, and Eugenie, 36, because every time the king “sees them, naturally he’s reminded of their dad and the whole nightmare.”

Andrew was arrested on his 66th birthday on February 19 on claims that he shared confidential information with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. If charged and convicted, he could face life in prison.
“Andrew doesn’t trust a soul right now and is constantly looking over his shoulder and worrying that he could meet with some sort of accident,” a source said at the time. “The fact he’s now forever tied to Epstein and is viewed as the gatekeeper of all his secrets makes him a prime target and he knows it.”
