Kimberly Guilfoyle Making a Splash in Greece With Locals Despite Rattling International Relations
Glamorous Kimberly Guilfoyle — the U.S. ambassador to Greece — is being compared by captivated locals to late former first lady Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, who made headlines in 1968 by marrying Greek shipping tycoon Aristotle Onassis, sources say.
Insiders tell Straight Shuter that Kimberly has cameras tracking her every move in the capital, Athens, politicians lining up for photos and lifestyle shows dissecting her wardrobe.
“She understands spectacle,” one insider says. “Athens loves a star — and right now, she’s it.”
But sources spill the assertive former Fox News personality — and onetime partner of Donald Trump Jr. — has rattled international relations by championing U.S.-backed energy initiatives and criticizing China’s role in Greece’s Port of Piraeus.
“Beijing was furious,” one source says. “And some Greek officials were caught off guard.”
