Kendall Jenner Wants a Serious Relationship But ‘Knows’ Jacob Elordi Isn’t ‘Ready to Settle Down’ (Exclusive)

No strings, no problem! Kendall Jenner is having fun hooking up with Jacob Elordi, an insider tells the National Enquirer, but she doesn’t take him seriously at all.

Romance rumors began swirling in mid-April after several sources told Deuxmoi that the two were making out and “all over each other” at Justin Bieber’s Coachella after party.

“If you ask [Jacob], he’d tell you that he’d jump at the chance to date Kendall, that she’s the one keeping it from going to the next level,” reveals the insider.

The supermodel, 30, has her reasons, though.

Per People, the Wuthering Heights heartthrob, 28, has been in an on-again, off-again relationship with influencer Olivia Jade Giannulli since 2021.

“Kendall is a realist,” says the insider. “She knows Jacob is not ready for a serious relationship right now and she’s not going to put herself in a situation where she risks getting hurt.”

Friends would love to see Jenner and Elordi make things official, but the Kardashians star “says it would ruin their friendship and their situationship,” explains the insider. “It helps that she’s an avoidant herself when it comes to relationships, so in a lot of ways, she prefers what they have.”

That’s not to say Jenner doesn’t want a serious relationship, the Enquirer’s insider notes. “She insists that she does. She’s just not delusional enough to think Jacob is ready to settle down right now.”

In the meantime, “she has a great time whenever they’re together,” says the insider.
