Handsome hunk Joaquin Consuelos — son of Live cohosts Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos — made his Broadway debut as young Biff Loman in the 2026 revival of Death of a Salesman, and theater insiders say the 23-year-old’s talent, not his family connections, is what’s turning heads.
“A lot of people assumed he got the role because of who his parents are,” one Broadway insider tells Straight Shuter. “Then rehearsals started, and suddenly, people realized this kid can actually act.”
“He is always the first one at the theater and the last one to leave,” another insider says. “No ego, no entitlement. He listens, works hard and treats everyone on the production with respect. That goes a long way on Broadway.”
Another theater source notes, “The industry expected a celebrity cameo. What they got was a serious young actor.”
