Sunday Rose Urban raised eyebrows when she gushed about her “biggest inspiration,” mom Nicole Kidman, in a recent Elle Australia interview — and failed to mention her father, Keith Urban, at all.
And it was no accident, Rob Shuter reported in his Naughty But Nice Substack on Wednesday, March 18.
“The kids have essentially cut off contact with Keith,” an insider revealed to Shuter. “This isn’t just about a quote — it’s been building for a while.”
Still, another source acknowledged, “Seeing it in black and white like that really hurt. He feels erased.”

As the National Enquirer previously reported, the country star, 58, had been trying to put his focus on Sunday, 17, and his other daughter, Faith, 15, following his split from the Scarpetta actress, 58, last year after 19 years of marriage.
“According to their divorce agreement, he only has Sunday Rose and Faith every other weekend, but when he’s touring even that doesn’t work,” a source told the Enquirer.
But it may be too late, Shuter reported. “Right now, there’s a real distance and Keith doesn’t know how to fix it,” the source told Shuter.
“He’s putting on a brave face,” the source added, “but privately, he feels like he’s lost his daughters.”
