Keep Talking, Haters! Sydney Sweeney ‘Knows Her Body Helps Her Get Attention’ (Exclusive)

Flaunting her assets!

Sydney Sweeney had everyone talking when she arrived at Variety’s Power of Women event in Beverly Hills on Wednesday, October 29 in a sheer Christian Cowan x Elias Matso dress that left little to the imagination.

“Sydney’s very savvy and self-aware. She knows her body helps her get attention so of course she dresses to show it off when she’s on the red carpet,” says a source. “She attends these things to promote her brand and her projects. The more coverage she gets afterwards in the press, the better — and having her body on display always seems to guarantee it.”

From body shamers to body praisers, the public has long been fixated with Sweeney’s busty frame. “It’s this weird relationship that people have with me that I have no control over,” she told Variety.

It’s also one that Euphoria star, 28, has no qualms cashing in on.

“Sydney’s very driven. She wants to amass a huge fortune and join the billionaire club,” says the source. “If she has to flaunt her body as one of her superpowers, she’s okay with that. She’s very confident in how she looks.”

That wasn’t always the case, of course.

“When I was in high school, I used to feel uncomfortable about how big my boobs were,” Sweeney confessed to Glamour UK. “I used to say that when I turned 18, I was going to get a boob job to make them smaller. My mom told me, ‘Don’t do it. You’ll regret it in college.’ And I’m so glad I didn’t.”

Now, rather than hide her body under baggy clothing, “Sydney’s learned to love it,” says the source. “It’s paid off handsomely for her, and she stands to profit even more once she launches her lingerie line.”
