Kaylee Goncalves’ Sister Says Some Wounds Inflicted by Bryan Kohberger Didn’t ‘Make Sense’

Kaylee Goncalves’ sister addressed continued speculation regarding the young woman’s brutal stabbing death in a TikTok video posted on Monday, October 21.

In her video, Alivea Goncalves said that she wanted to give her “perspective” on exhibits describing autopsy photos were initially sealed to protect murderer Bryan Kohberger, “an absolute f**king monster.”

When the report detailing the 34 stab wounds inflicted on Kaylee, 21, was eventually released, many followers questioned whether she was awake at the time of the attack.

“There’s really no easy way to say this but some of the wounds that were made to Kaylee were described as ‘experimental,’” said Alivea, who was told about the autopsy findings in a private meeting with prosecutors in Idaho, according to NewsNation.

“I don’t want to speculate on, you know, what exactly he was doing, whether it was to just cause pain or whatnot,” she added, but “these wounds didn’t necessarily make a lot of sense.”

“A wound that might typically in its presentation look defensive might not have necessarily been defensive,” she said. “Unfortunately you just can’t make that assumption … It doesn’t mean that someone wasn’t sleeping beforehand or was just briefly woken.”

Alivea concluded her post by expressing her irritation with prosecutors. “I don’t want to f**king be doing this, but no one on the State side is standing up and giving details like this,” she said. “I get it to some extent, but it’s creating like massive amounts of chaos and I’m tired of ignoring it.”

Alivea delivered a scathing victim impact statement at Kohberger’s sentencing hearing in July. He is now serving four life sentences for the November 13, 2022 murders of Goncalves, Madison Mogen, 21, Xana Kernodle, 20, and Ethan Chapin, 20.
