Kathy Griffin just said the unmentionable — that she turned down a whopping $1.4 million to join The View back in the mid-2000s — and it has stirred up a hornet’s nest.
“Kathy said the quiet part out loud,” one source explains. “She exposed how wildly unequal the pay structure has been.”
With Whoopi Goldberg reportedly earning around $8 million a year and Joy Behar close behind at $7 million, there’s still Sunny Hostin at $1 million, Sara Haines and Alyssa Farah Griffin at $800,000 apiece, and Ana Navarro at $250,000 — and sources say they are now rethinking their worth.
