Joe Rogan’s podcast has officially reached the top spot on Apple’s charts for 2025.
On Tuesday, November 18, Apple revealed its annual podcast rankings, and for the first time, The Joe Rogan Experience claimed the No. 1 position.
Rogan’s popular podcasts has long been recognized as one of the most listened-to in the world across various platforms. But Tuesday’s announcement marks the first time it has overtaken The Daily, The New York Times’ podcast.

Last year, The Daily held the top spot on Apple’s podcast charts, while The Joe Rogan Experience ranked No. 3.
Rogan’s podcast also placed fourth in the Top Episodes of 2025 category, with his Elon Musk interview drawing significant attention. His episode with Dr. Suzanne Humphries was also honored as the sixth most-shared episode of 2025.
The Joe Rogan Experience is also in the No. 2 for most-followed shows.

The Daily is hosted by New York Times reporters Michael Barbaro, Rachel Abrams and Natalie Kitroeff. It airs five days a week and debuted in 2017.
Meanwhile, Rogan’s show has consistently performed well on Spotify, which named it the No. 1 podcast for 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024.
