Jim Carrey’s New Look Sparks Plastic Surgery Rumors: ‘Struggling Accepting Getting Older’ (Exclusive)

Rumors began swirling that Jim Carrey went under the knife after the Daily Mail published photos of his shocking ‘new look’ at the 2026 César Awards in Paris on Thursday, February 26.

“That’s not Jim,” declared a fan. “What has he done to his face?” asked another. “Sometimes it’s best to leave the fillers & surgery alone,” commented a third.

“Obviously, he’s struggling accepting getting older,” a source tells the National Enquirer, adding that friends are worried the 64-year-old comedian is in the midst of a late-life crisis, in part so he can keep up with girlfriend Min Ah, who at 32 is literally half his age.

“No doubt being with Min, who is so much younger, has magnified his fears,” says the source. “He’s a guy who is always hard on himself and he can be quite competitive, even with the women he dates. No doubt he’s comparing himself to Min, that’s just the way he is.”

Carrey didn’t just debut a new look at the César Awards. He also debuted his relationship with Min.

The Mask star walked the red carpet with his girlfriend and even gave her a sweet shout-out in his acceptance speech. “Thank you to my sublime companion, Min Ah. I love you, Min Ah,” Carrey gushed, per People.

“He’s been very happy with her,” says the source. “The fact that he’s started going out in public with her, considering how intensely private he is, says a whole lot about how serious he is.”

“That’s a big part of why he’s been on this self-improvement kick,” the source continues. “The irony is that he really didn’t need to do this. She’s totally into him as is.”
