Jesse Ventura is taking aim at President Donald Trump — by calling on his son to serve.
During the Tuesday, March 24, episode of Piers Morgan Uncensored, per The Blast, Ventura, 74, called the president a “draft-dodging coward” and urged his son Barron Trump, 20, to enlist in the U.S. military as tensions tied to Iran continue.
“A war is justified if you’re willing to send your kids. Because how can you send somebody else’s kids to a war if you won’t send your own?” the former governor of Minnesota questioned.
Ventura doubled down, directly addressing Barron: “I’m calling right now for Barron Trump, Donald Trump’s son… [to] enlist in the United States military right now. Do something your father didn’t have the courage to do. Do something your father didn’t have the patriotism to do. I want to see a Trump in the military.”

The retired pro wrestler also took a broader swipe at the Trump family, adding that a “Trump in the last hundred years has never done military service” and that Barron “can change that.”
His remarks come as the U.S. sends 1,000 soldiers from the 82nd Airborne Division to the Middle East, per CNN, and as debate continues over U.S. and Israel-led military escalation in Iran.
While Ventura framed his comments as a matter of fairness and accountability, not everyone agreed.
“It’s not fair to pick on Barron. It is fair to call out Trump” one critic wrote on X.
