Jesse James is breaking his silence following the arrest of his wife, Alaina James, known by her stage name Bonnie Rotten.
On Tuesday, March 17, James, 56, took to Instagram to share a photo of Rotten, 32 along with a caption that appeared to show support for her, despite his recent accusation that she assaulted him.
“The devil doesn’t always come with horns—sometimes it shows up exactly how you like it,” the Monster Garage star captioned a photo of Bonnie standing outside of a car. In the photo, she’s seen smiling in a low-cut black tank top and a short black skirt.
The cryptic post comes just three days after a TMZ surfaced, alleging James told authorities his wife struck him, leaving marks on his face and neck. He also claimed she bit his thumb. Bonnie was arrested and booked into the Hays County Jail outside of San Antonio, Texas, on a charge of assault causing bodily injury involving a family member, the report said.
Upon arrival, police claimed they observed James with “several dark red marks on right side of face (adjacent right eye) and (right side of neck),” the report said.

James’ current marriage has been turbulent. In November 2024, the motorcycle mechanic filed a restraining order against Rotten in response to her divorce petition and her own request for a restraining order. They each accused the other of domestic abuse.
Despite the latest incident, Rotten has indicated that the couple is staying together. “This was an unfortunate situation. Jesse picked me up from jail. We love each other and want to make it work. We had a quiet family night at home and are seeking help in areas we need and will have no further comment at this time,” she said, per TMZ.
James is known for also previously being married to actress Sandra Bullock. Their divorce was finalized in 2010. He was also previously married to Alexis DeJoria and Karla James.
