Jerry O’Connell and John Stamos have finally ended their icy, years-long feud — and fans can’t believe the real-life plot twist.
The unexpected meet-up happened at Howie Mandel’s 70th birthday bash, where Rebecca Romijn‘s husband, O’Connell, 51, snapped and posted a smiling selfie with her ex, Stamos, 62, and his wife, Caitlin McHugh.
“First Mayor Mamdani and President Trump. Then me and @johnstamos…” O’Connell joked in his caption, seemingly referring to the New York City mayor and President Trump’s surprisingly friendly meeting after months of trading barbs.
Instagram lit up as stunned followers reacted to the long-awaited peace treaty. “I literally gasped out loud,” wrote one, while another joked: “The world is healing.”
A third urged them to take the reconciliation further: “You should play buddy cops. @rebeccaromijn could play the femme fatale you’re assigned to take down.”

The thaw marks a major moment in one of Hollywood’s messiest ex-triangle tensions. Stamos was married to Romijn, 53, from 1998 to 2005. Two years later, she married O’Connell — and Stamos later admitted in his 2023 memoir that the divorce left him feeling “emasculated” and “devastated.”
O’Connell also alluded to Stamos writing about Romijn — who told Entertainment Tonight she was “blindsided” by being mentioned in Stamos’ book — during a chat with TMZ in 2023, saying they did “not get a heads-up.”
But that’s all water under the bridge now — at least, according to fans.
“This is my Versailles Treaty,” quipped another fan in the comments under the selfie.
