JD Vance Addresses Claims He and Wife Usha Had a ‘Loud Argument’ in Public After Photo Sparks Speculation

JD Vance is poking fun at rumors about him getting into a fight with his wife, Usha Vance.

On Tuesday, December 9, the Vice President of the United States, 41, took to X to repost a viral photo of himself at a restaurant, with a stern expression, seemingly mid-conversation, looking over at Usha, 39, who sits across the table with her head in her hand. The politician sported a plain short-sleeve white T-shirt, while the Second Lady wore a dark-colored long-sleeve top.

The photo — posted by a Facebook user — was captioned, “Looks like things are not so good in Republicanistan. Usha is a liberal. Always has been. Apparently they were having an argument loud enough to quiet the restaurant. Why is he wearing a tee shirt?”

The person who shared the Facebook post on X added, “JD and Usha (allegedly) spotted having a loud argument at a restaurant recently.”

Meanwhile, JD wrote, “I always wear an undershirt when I go out in public to have a fight loudly with my wife.”

As the National Enquirer previously reported, the couple sparked speculation about the state of their marriage after Usha was spotted without her wedding ring last month while visiting Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune in Jacksonville, North Carolina, with First Lady Melania Trump.

However, a spokesperson for the lawyer — who shares children Ewan, 8, and Vivek, 5, and Mirabel, 3, with JD — told People that Usha is “a mother of three young children, who does a lot of dishes, gives lots of baths and forgets her ring sometimes.”

Additionally, in an interview with NBC News published Friday, December 5, JD claimed his marriage “is as strong as it’s ever been,” noting “Usha’s really taken” to being Second Lady, adding, “it’s been kind of cool to see how she’s developed and evolved in this new role.”
