Hulk Hogan’s widow, Sky Daily, reportedly plans to sue the doctor who performed the late wrestler’s neck surgery for medical malpractice.
Hogan underwent a surgical procedure on his neck back in May, which Daily believes led to his sudden death.
“We are investigating for possible malpractice. If you have shortness of breath for a long time, that makes you very sick,” Daily, 46, told the Daily Mail in an article published on Thursday, August 28, explaining that Hogan’s phrenic nerve was “compromised” during the surgery.
According to Daily, Hogan was left “short of breath in the months up to his heart stopping.”
“It’s not something that’s an alarming (sudden) cause of death. It’s something that wears on you, makes you weak,” she told the outlet.

The WWE icon, 71, died at his home in Clearwater, Florida, on July 24. His cause of death was later ruled a heart attack. Just weeks before his death, Daily revealed to fans that the athlete’s heart was “strong.”
“He’s definitely not in a coma!” she responded to a concerned fan’s comment on Instagram. “There was never any lack of oxygen or brain damage… none of those rumors are true. He’s been recovering from a major four-level Anterior Cervical Discectomy and Fusion (ACDF), which is an intense surgery with a long and layered healing process.”
Now, Daily said, “Everything about his neck surgery has been documented from when he was alive.”
“We’ve all known about it for a while. It’s not brand new information… So there’s nothing that happened right before he passed,” she told Daily Mail. “I know the truth will come out, so I’m sitting back here politely being, like, everything’s being well documented. I know it’s fine.”
