Tatyana Remley, who previously pleaded guilty to orchestrating a murder for hire plot against her estranged husband, has reportedly died by suicide.
The California woman, 44, was found dead outside the Princess Pub & Grille in San Diego’s Little Italy on Thursday, December 18. Authorities confirmed they were investigating a death that appeared to be a suicide, and the San Diego County Medical Examiner later ruled her death a suicide caused by a gunshot wound to the head, according to a report published by the Daily Mail on Monday, December 22.
Mark Remley, her estranged husband, spoke with the outlet and said that he had talked with her just hours before her death. He said that she called him around 7 p.m. and complained about a man that she was with at the bar.

“She FaceTimed me while in the bathroom stall and told me, ‘I’m with this guy and he’s being a jerk,’” Mark told the Daily Mail. “I told her to just leave.”
Mark claimed that when he offered to call for help, Tatyana told him she was fine and ended their phone call.
Police recovered a firearm at the scene and said no one else was injured. After failing to hear from her the following day, Mark reported her missing before learning of her death from authorities.

“I tried so many times to get her help because I saw her struggle with life throughout our marriage,” Mark explained. “I did not see this coming. I loved her and yes, our marriage ended very badly. I couldn’t stay any longer after she tried to hire someone to kill me. I fled for my life and went to the other side of the country. But this was the last thing I thought would happen to her.”
In 2023, Tatyana had been at the center of a high profile case after she allegedly asked a friend to help her find someone to murder her husband, according to investigators.

Law enforcement later staged a sting operation using an undercover detective posing as a hitman. Tatyana pleaded guilty to solicitation of murder and firearms related charges and was released early from jail earlier this year.
She was later arrested again on arson charges and was scheduled to return to court in 2026.
Mark said that he and Tatyana, who once both starred in Showtime’s Naked SNCTM – a reality TV show about an exclusive swingers club – had remained in contact despite their turbulent history, according to the outlet, and were close to settling their divorce. He said he is now coordinating with the fathers of Tatyana’s children regarding her remains.
