Authorities in Ohio on Tuesday announced the arrests of a man who escaped jail on Saturday and the woman accused of assisting him.

Wayne Pletcher, 37, was being held at the Muskingham County Jail on felony charges of tampering with evidence and possession of drug abuse instruments, as well as on a warrant out of Knox County for failure to appear for a theft charge, when he escaped shortly after 5 p.m. Saturday and fled on foot, according to the Muskingham County Sheriff’s Office.

No weapons were used in the escape, and no injuries were reported. The sheriff’s office said Pletcher was believed to have been assisted by 45-year-old Sara E. Moore, who faces charges of obstructing justice and complicity to commit escape.

Pletcher and Moore were taken into custody without incident late Monday, the sheriff’s office announced Tuesday morning, thanking the community for its assistance. Both were being held at the Muskingham County Jail.
