It’s her time to shine!

Daniel Craig is playing the supportive husband amid Rachel Weisz’s career resurgence, the National Enquirer has learned.

“He’s incredibly encouraging,” shares an insider. “Daniel wants Rachel to be the box office queen she was meant to be — and The Mummy 4 is the perfect project to make that happen again.”

The actress — who currently stars in Netflix’s Vladimir — appeared in the franchise’s first two movies, which raked in more than $850,000,000 globally, per Box Office Mojo.

Now, 25 years later, she’s set to reprise her role as Egyptologist Evelyn O’Connell (née Carnahan), notes Deadline, with a release scheduled for May 19, 2028.

“Daniel is backing her up for her big franchise payday — the same way she did every time he went to make another James Bond movie,” the insider notes. “Rachel earned this time, and she’s going to make the most of it!”

As Enquirer previously reported, filming for the latest Mummy flick is likely to take the 56-year-old to remote locations and be followed by a lengthy press tour, which a source warned would be a “major disruption” to her nearly 15-year marriage.

But according to the insider, Craig, 58, is happy to hand over the spotlight while he takes on the heavy lifting with their daughter, Grace, 7.

While rumors have swirled for years about his involvement in two as-yet-unconfirmed films, the actor seemingly has no new projects on tap after wrapping production on the upcoming Narnia movie.

“Daniel has done his duty as 007 and made a fortune with his Netflix deal for the Knives Out movies,” points out the insider. “Thanks to all that money and clout, there aren’t many mountains left for him to climb in Hollywood.”

Weisz — who’s now filming Seance on a Wet Afternoon in the U.K. — has one industry achievement he doesn’t, though: She won an Academy Award for her part in 2005’s The Constant Gardener.

“Does Daniel want an Oscar? Yeah, but not desperately,” the insider insists. “He gets to see his wife’s award every single day and he’s not seething with jealousy over it. A win down the road would be nice, but it’s not a requirement.”
