Courtney Stodden Introduces ‘the New Girls’ After Having Breast Reduction Surgery: ‘I Feel Lighter’

Courtney Stodden is reflecting on her decision to have a breast reduction.

The former reality TV star, 31, shared a selfie to Instagram late last week, showing off the cosmetic procedure she had done in May.

“Introducing the new girls,” she began in the caption, explaining that she decided to downsize after getting “huge implants when i was barely 18.”

“Today, at 31, i finally feel like i’m making decisions for me,” she wrote. “This wasn’t just about going smaller. it was about taking my body back. i’m only about 2 weeks post-op and still healing, but already i feel lighter.”

Stodden — who made headlines as a teenager after marrying actor Doug Hutchison when she was 16 and he was 51 — said that she felt “for so many years, my body felt like it belonged to everyone but me.”

“Now it feels like mine,” she said.

Of the benefits since having the reduction, the Celebrity Big Brother alum — who is now married to film director and producer Jared Safier — wrote, “My back is happier, my body feels like mine, and honestly… so do i 😊.”

Referencing her undergarments, she added, “Also how gorgeous is this @honeybirdette set? i couldn’t resist 🤍.”

Stodden’s surgeon, Dr. Stuart Linder, previously told TMZ that her new implants are designed to better fit her proportions.

Though the surgery was successful, Stodden hinted she may someday undergo a full mommy makeover if she has children in the future.

“The girls have had a very long Hollywood run, and honestly, they deserve a graceful retirement era,” Stodden shared in a pre-op message shared with the outlet, adding that she’ll have “bigger peace.”
