Colman Domingo has spoken out about Paris Jackson‘s criticism of the Michael film.
Last year the National Enquirer reported how Jackson called out Domingo over his claim that she was “very helpful” with the biopic based on her late father, Michael Jackson, posting on Instagram that she “had0% involvement. I read one of the first drafts of the script and gave my notes about what was dishonest [and] didn’t sit right with me and when they didn’t address it I moved on with my life.”
Now as the film heads toward its big-screen debut on April 24, the Sing Sing actor, 56, has addressed her reservations.
“I hope that she eventually loves the tribute that we made about her father,” Domingo said in an interview on Tuesday, March 10 with WSJ Magazine.

The Euphoria star also insisted his earlier comments suggesting Paris, 27, had helped the filmmakers were misunderstood. He explained that his remarks were “taken out of context” and were later amended in the People article in which they first appeared.
The story now quotes the Oscar nominee as saying that Paris and her brother Prince are “very much in support of our film” and that the actress had been “nothing but lovely and warm” to him.
Domingo told WSJ Magazine that he also reached out to explain the situation to Paris in a direct message on Instagram and she responded with a heart emoji.
As the Enquirer previously reported, Prince, 29, has been more involved in the film, working alongside producer Graham King.
The King of Pop, who died in 2009, is played by his nephew Jaafar Jackson in the film.
