Severe weather beat up the Nashville area over the weekend.
Cobra Kai actor Martin Kove had to evacuate his home amid flash flooding triggered by heavy rainfall on Saturday, August 8.

“Quite the experience,” the 79-year-old tells the National Enquirer. “Most importantly, my friend and my new puppy, Winston the bulldog, are safe. The house is fine.”
The Rambo: First Blood Part II star posted a video of the fast-moving waters on his Instagram reel, and revealed that the rescue team had to bring a boat up to his front door.
“Couldn’t have done it without the Franklin [Tennessee] fire department and first responders that showed no mercy and got us out of there,” added Kove, who played villainous karate sensei John Kreese in three Karate Kid movies as well as the YouTube and Netflix sequel series Cobra Kai from 2018 to 2025.

Nashville Severe Weather estimated that the area saw three to five inches of rainfall per hour starting at around 5 p.m. on Saturday, according to WKRN.
