Charlie Kirk is dead at the age of 31.

The death of the conservative political activist was confirmed by TMZ about an hour after Kirk was shot during a campus event at Utah Valley University.

Kirk has been traveling to various college campuses around the country as part of his American Comeback Tour. While visiting Utah Valley University, multiple videos showed him sitting on a stool in front of a crowd before he was jerked backward by a bullet. He was struck in the neck and footage showed large amounts of blood gushing from the wound.
