Brianna ‘Chickenfry’ LaPaglia has shared a bold warning about weight loss drugs.
The 26-year-old Internet personality and podcaster took to TikTok on Tuesday, March 10, to weigh in on the Ozempic craze.
“No tea, no shade, no hate, just some field research,” LaPaglia said. “Every single bh I know is on Ozempic. People that do not need Ozempic. It’s like if I did Ozempic. Could I lose a couple? Surely. Do I need Ozempic? No!”
LaPaglia went on to claim that, in her perspective, taking a drug like Ozempic when you don’t need it could come with severe side effects.
“You’re gonna die. You’re all gonna die,” she said.
LaPaglia appeared to be speaking about those who are using semaglutide injections. In the United States, semaglutide is sold under brand names like Ozempic and Wegovy, according to the Mayo Clinic. The medication is primarily used to treat type 2 diabetes, but it has also become widely known for being prescribed for weight loss.

LaPaglia’s comments appeared to divide TikTok users in the comment section.
“It’s actually so scary,” one user commented.
“It’s scary for real,” another agreed.
“Don’t judge,” a third said in opposition.
“And this is why people that truly need it can’t afford it ! High demand high price!” another added.
LaPaglia has been open about her weight journey, revealing on her Real Pod podcast last month that she previously suffered from an eating disorder.
“I had an anxiety-induced eating disorder, where I was always nauseous,” she said, according to Page Six. “Anytime I ate something, I would throw up.”
“I would just avoid food at all costs because I knew that it would make me sick, or I was just so nauseous all the time [because of] my anxiety that I couldn’t eat,” she added.

She has also spoken about dropping to the same weight she weighed in high school following her public breakup from ex Zach Bryan, and later celebrating gaining 11 pounds.
“We have exciting news. I think I’ve gained 11 pounds,” LaPaglia said in December 2024 on TikTok. “And it’s great and it’s awesome because I have an appetite again. I’m eating. But I’m like, ‘Bh. I know you haven’t eaten for a year, but maybe relax a little bit.’”
“If you’re confused, I lost a lot of weight,” she added. “It was like toxic, awful, horrible situation. I was mentally going through it so bad that like I couldn’t eat and I became skin and bones.”
