Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia is engaged to White House reporter Brian Glenn.
The couple announced their news on X on Monday, December 15, after enjoying a romantic meal together.
Glenn posted a photo of the pair at a Washington, D.C. restaurant, captioned “She said ‘yes.’”
The 51-year-old Republican congresswoman was shown wearing a large engagement ring that she helped design.

The proposal took place at Joe’s Seafood, Prime Steak & Stone Crab, which is located two blocks from the White House. It is the same restaurant where President Donald Trumpdined earlier this year during his only D.C. restaurant outing since taking office.
Glenn told the Daily Mail he arranged the proposal carefully, requesting their regular table at the back of the restaurant with a curtain for privacy. The same waiter who served President Trump during his visit attended to the couple during the proposal.
Glenn ordered an Old Fashioned made with Four Roses Bourbon, while Greene had a Cosmopolitan made with Tito’s vodka and Chilean seabass.

Glenn added: “I called ahead to make sure I had our usual table in the back that has a curtain,’ he revealed via text message. ‘After the waiter delivered the drinks to our table, I proposed to her via a surprise. And she said yes. We are both overjoyed and have shared the news with our families.”
Their engagement news comes as Greene has been involved in a high-profile political split from Trump over issues including the release of the Epstein files.
Greene announced late last month that she would leave the House of Representatives on January 5. As The National Enquirer revealed, she recently soft-auditioned for The View and may be looking for new roles for the new year.
