Brazilian Esthetician Dead at 31 After Undergoing Multiple Plastic Surgery Procedures at Once

A Brazilian esthetician has died just two days after undergoing three cosmetic procedures at once.

On Wednesday, March 4, Globo reported that 31-year-old Priscila Dorneles was found dead in her home by her sister on February 28. The outlet reported that her sister discovered her lying on the floor and attempted to do CPR, to no avail.

The medical group that performed Dorneles’ surgeries, Everbeauty Group, confirmed to Globo that she had the procedures on February 26 and was released the following day.

“The Everbeauty Group received with surprise and deep sorrow the news of the tragic loss of patient PLD, aged 31, this Saturday (February 28th), after undergoing a liposuction, mastopexy with prosthesis and scar correction procedure without complications,” the company said in a statement given to Globo. “The surgery took place on the morning of last Thursday (February 26th), at the Grand Santa Maria Hospital, in Goiânia, and she was discharged the following day because her clinical condition allowed her to continue.”

The company stated that they followed “the previously established protocol” regarding Dorneles’ procedures and remain “dedicated to supporting the family and understanding the facts.”

Several people were saddened by the news and Dorneles’ sister posted a tribute to her on social media.

“The most beautiful, the most cheerful, the one who lit up any place just with her smile,” Letícia Dorneles wrote, per Globo. “My companion, my partner for everything, my confidante, my safe embrace.”
