Bad Bunny Performance Appears to Play at President Trump’s Party Despite Him Saying It’s the ‘Worst Ever’

Even President Donald Trump watched the official Super Bowl LX halftime show.

Footage (via X) taken from what appears to be the 79-year-old president’s Super Bowl watch party shows Trump sitting at a table as Bad Bunny’s highly anticipated performance seemed to play in the background.

Trump reportedly hosted a watch party in Palm Beach, Florida, on Sunday, February 9, when the Seattle Seahawks took on the New England Patriots at Levi’s Stadium.

Following the 31-year-old Puerto Rican rapper’s halftime show — which featured guest performers Ricky Martin and Lady Gaga along with many celebrity cameos — the Apprentice alum shared his true feelings on Truth Social.

“The Super Bowl Halftime Show is absolutely terrible, one of the worst, EVER!” Trump said. “It makes no sense, is an affront to the Greatness of America, and doesn’t represent our standards of Success, Creativity, or Excellence. Nobody understands a word this guy is saying, and the dancing is disgusting, especially for young children that are watching from throughout the U.S.A., and all over the World.”

“This ‘Show’ is just a ‘slap in the face’ to our Country, which is setting new standards and records every single day — including the Best Stock Market and 401(k)s in History!” he continued. “There is nothing inspirational about this mess of a Halftime Show and watch, it will get great reviews from the Fake News Media, because they haven’t got a clue of what is going on in the REAL WORLD.”

“And, by the way, the NFL should immediately replace its ridiculous new Kickoff Rule. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!” he concluded, signing his message Donald J. Trump.

As Bad Bunny headlined the entertainment in Santa Clara, California, artists Kid Rock, Brantley Gilbert, Lee Brice and Gabby Barrett performed at the Turning Point USA’s All-American Halftime Show, which streamed on YouTube.

It is unclear if Trump was also watching the Turning Point show at his party.

The All-American Halftime Show brought in approximately 6.1 million concurrent viewers on its YouTube channel, according to the New York Times, as compared to reports of more than 135 million viewers for Bad Bunny.

Turning Point USA CEO Erika Kirk wrote on X that her late husband, Charlie Kirk, “would’ve absolutely loved” their performance.

Super Bowl LX saw the Seahawks beat the Patriots with a final score of 29 to 13.
