Angelina Jolie Leaning On Ex Billy Bob Thornton Amid War With Brad Pitt: They ‘Talk All the Time’ (Exclusive)

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are still battling over Château Miraval nine years after she filed for divorce.

But another one of her exes — Billy Bob Thornton — has her back amid the ongoing legal drama, says a source.

“Billy Bob and Angie talk all the time,” the source dishes to the National Enquirer. “She tells him everything.”

There’s no doubt they have a lot to say. In early November, People reported that new evidence filed in court alleged Pitt, 61, secretly sued Jolie, 50, for $35 million in damages following the sale of her share of their winery business.

“This divorce continues to cause her untold heartache and sleepless nights,” shares the source. “Angie doesn’t open up to a lot of people, but with Billy Bob it’s a different story.”

The Landman actor, 70, recently confirmed to Rolling Stone that he and his Maleficent actress ex-wife remain “very, very close friends.”

“Billy Bob’s so impressed with how resolute and determined Angie’s been despite her many setbacks over the years,” the source tells the Enquirer.

According to the source, hearing Thornton gush about Jolie — including in the November 17 Rolling Stone article, where he said being married to the Maria star from 2000 to 2003 “was one of the greatest times” in his life — “isn’t easy” for current wife Connie Angland.

The pair wed in 2014 after a decade-plus of dating and are parents to daughter Bella, 21.

“But this is a non-negotiable alliance from Billy Bob’s perspective,” adds the source. “He’d walk through fire for Angie.”
