In the latest twist to their troubled marriage, GEORGE CLOONEY and his wife, AMAL, are arguing over the pitter-patter of little feet.
That’s because she wants to have a baby, and he wants a new pig running around the house!
The Oscar-winning hunk, 54, is finally ready to replace his beloved pot-bellied pig, Max, who died in 2006 – but Amal, 37, wants him to grow up and become a real dad!
"George thought his pot-bellied pig was absolutely adorable,” said a source.
“His relationship with Max was relatively carefree, but Amal wants to start a family – and she says there’s no room in their lives for a pig!”
Her hubby, however, isn’t ready to give up stardom to take a supporting role!
“George only has time to care for a pet,” dished the insider.
“He thinks he’s too old to start having kids now, and his career is very demanding. He’s been working on back-to-back films – but Amal would rather raise a child than care for a pig!”
