The wife of Weezer rocker Scott Shriner is facing attempted murder charges for shooting at Los Angeles cops.

Jillian Lauren Shriner, 51, an author and former call girl, emerged from her home holding a pistol as police combed the neighborhood looking for suspects in an unrelated hit-and-run. Cops said she “ignored police commands to disarm” and “fired her weapon at LAPD” before one of them retaliated and winged her in the shoulder. She was later released on $1 million bail.

“Jillian is beautiful and incredibly creative and talented, but she has always been prone to flare-ups and rash behavior,” a family friend tells The National ENQUIRER. “She is very high-strung and now it could end up costing her years behind bars.”

The incident is just the latest eventful chapter in Jillian’s colorful life. She is the author of a best-selling memoir about her year-long experience as part of Prince Jefri Bolkiah of Brunei’s harem in the 1990s.

She also wrote a true crime book about Samuel Little, America’s most prolific serial killer, based on interviews she did with him.

She has been fighting a battle with cancer that’s required two surgeries — including a hysterectomy just two weeks before her standoff with cops — which the friend says may have affected her mental state.

Scott Shriner had no comment on his wife of 20 years’ case.
