Tom Cruise Preparing For Final Act as 62-Year-Old’s Stunt Days Near End: Source
Ultimate Hollywood daredevil Tom Cruise at 62 is gearing up for his final act — sources say the man who made sprinting in a suit look like an Olympic event may be ready to step down for good.
“Tom always said the day he couldn’t do his own stunts would be the day he walked,” a longtime collaborator tells The Enquirer.
“And that day is getting close. If he can’t fly the jet or ride the bike off the cliff himself, he won’t fake it.”
In the new trailer for Mission: Impossible — The Final Reckoning, Cruise doesn’t just leap off cliffs — he delivers what feels like a goodbye with the line: “Trust me one last time.”
A former exec says even the title of the movie “screams final chapter.”
