Police in Seattle are seeking the public’s help identifying a suspect accused of stealing two Tiffany & Co. bracelets worth thousands of dollars on two separate occasions.

The Seattle Police Department this week released surveillance video and images of the suspect, who they say targeted the Tiffany & Co. jewelry store downtown on Dec. 26, 2024, and again on Jan. 2, 2025.

On Jan. 2, patrol officers responded to a report of a robbery at the jewelry store, and learned the suspect was “noticeably shaking” as he posed as a customer. He asked to try on a bracelet worth $27,000, then immediately fled with the item.

The surveillance video shows an employee placing the bracelet on the suspect’s wrist, and he immediately bolts for the door. The security guard grabs at the suspect, but he slips out of his jacket and continues running out of frame. Police said the security guard gave chase and managed to remove the bracelet before the suspect got away. The bracelet was returned to the store.

The same suspect did, however, get away with a $16,000 Tiffany pavé bangle bracelet in the December robbery, police said.

The suspect is described as a white male in his 20s, with short, dark hair and a thin build, weighing about 160 pounds and standing five feet, nine inches tall. He was wearing white Apple Air Pods, a dark blue North Face puffer jacket, gray t-shirt, black pants, and white New Balance sneakers.

Police are asking anyone with information about the suspects identity or location to call 911 or SPDs Violent Crimes Tip Line at (206) 233-5000.
