When asked whether she gets along with Goodman, 74, or Laurie Metcalf, 71, Barr simply replied, “I don’t.”
After the reporter followed up by wondering if they’re in contact at all, she added, “Of course not.”
“Nobody is more brokenhearted than me,” the Emmy-winner continued of where she and all her former costars all stand now. “I just choose to remember the fun and the good times. My son called Goodman and asked him to do a cameo on Meemaw and he declined.”
Goodman has not publicly responded to her comments.

Barr was fired from the revival of the beloved ’90s family sitcom in 2018 after posting a since-deleted tweet comparing former President Barack Obama‘s adviser Valerie Jarrett to an “ape,” leading to the show’s cancellation by ABC.
She has maintained she didn’t know Jarrett is half-Black and wasn’t making a racist comment. Roseanne, meanwhile, was later revived as The Conners, without Barr.
Per THR, the comedian’s new show is loosely based on her own life in Texas Hill Country, starring Barr herself as the matriarch of a mixed-race family. It also stars Randy Quaid.
“Roseanne couldn’t get a network to finance her comeback, so she went ahead and made the show herself,” an industry insider told the outlet. “Now she’s got eight episodes and no buyer. That’s a very expensive gamble.”
“Roseanne still has fans,” the insider noted. “But fans aren’t television executives, and political loyalty doesn’t guarantee a sitcom deal.”
