Police Searching For Suspect Ask, ‘Do You Recognize This Mullet?’
Police in California are seeking the public’s help identifying a suspect who has a distinctive mullet.
The Irvine Police Department on Wednesday posted surveillance images of two suspects on social media, alongside the question, “Do you recognize this mullet?”
The suspects are accused of stealing a victim’s wallet at the Trader Joe’s grocery store at 422 Campus Drive. They used the victim’s credit card to buy a “fancy” phone at a nearby Best Buy, police said.
“One of the individuals was sporting indoor sunglasses and a mullet, bold fashion choices,” police said.
“Is the mullet making a comeback?” police joked. “Is it still ‘business in the front, party in the back’ if you commit a crime?”
