Police in Pennsylvania are seeking the public’s help identifying a suspect in an attempted arson at a state representative’s office Wednesday night.

The Nanticoke City Police Department on Friday shared surveillance images of a suspect who allegedly threw “several Molotov cocktail like devices” at the office of Republican state Rep. Alec Ryncavage located at 50 North Walnut Street in Nanticoke, about 120 miles northwest of Philadelphia, at around 11:20 p.m. on Wednesday.

“Late Wednesday night, an unidentified male attempted to ignite and throw two firebomb-like devices at my legislative district office. Our complex shares walls with a family-owned pharmacy, a family-owned physical therapy office, and we have neighbors right across the street. Sadly, someone wanted to light it all on fire,” Ryncavage said in a statement.

“This is concerning for my constituents, my staff and the community. Thankfully, no one was injured,” he said.

Police are asking anyone with information to call 911 or Detective Captain Chadwick Southern at 570-736-2094.
