Ron Reagan Jr.’s Family Shame Over Atheist Endorsement

Ronald Reagan's family is being torn apart after the president’s son and namesake, Ron Reagan Jr., made a jaw-dropping TV appeal for an atheist organization!

“Hi, I’m Ron Reagan, an unabashed atheist, and I’m alarmed by the intrusions of religion into our secular government,” Ron Jr. says on behalf of the godless Freedom from Religion Foundation.

Ron's pitch for donations says the organization is “working to keep state and church separate, just like our founding fathers intended,” and signs off with: “Ron Reagan, lifelong atheist, not afraid of burning in hell.”

The 30-second ad was taped in 2014, but was widely banned and only aired on CNN, Comedy Central and some regional networks. It’s now been revived, and broadcast on MSNBC and again on CNN!

Ron Jr.’s half-brother, Michael, was appalled at the ad. “Our father is crying in heaven,” said Michael in a social media post. President Reagan was a devout Christian who believed in the power of prayer, says Michael, who was adopted by Reagan and his first wife, actress Jane Wyman.

“I remember having dinner with my father — with our family,” he recalled. “And he [Ron Jr.] was talking about his atheism and my dad leaned over to me and grabbed my hand and said, ‘My only prayer is that my son becomes a Christian’... and that was his prayer.”

The 40th president, shown here with activist Rev. Jerry Fallwell, died at age 93 in 2004, and a former aide says the ad is also a slap in a face to Ron Jr.’s late mother, Nancy, who died in 2016. “This ad is offensive and exploits the Reagan name," The National ENQUIRER learned from a source.

"That’s particularly surprising because Ron was the son his mother depended on,” the source continued. “At Ronnie’s funeral, it really struck me how as Nancy stood over the coffin, she didn’t turn to Michael. She turned to Ron.”
