Jim Belushi’s Brutal Divorce Drama

Jim Belushi saw his nearly 20-year marriage has hit the wall hard as wife Jennifer Sloan filed for divorce on March 5 — the 36th anniversary of the overdose death of his brother, comic legend John Belushi.

The couple, who wed in May 1998, have two kids, 18-year-old daughter Jamison and 16-year-old son Jared. But sources tell The National ENQUIRER the lovebirds hadn’t been seen together in public since Nov. 14, 2017, when they attended a screening of “Wonder Woman” in New York City.

In another brutal blow, Jim learned about the divorce just one day after the Academy Awards. The actor got raves for his work in "Wonder Wheel" through 2017, with talk of him landing an Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actor.  That was shortly before "Wonder Wheel" director Woody Allen was caught back up in the #MeToo movement — effectively killing Jim's chances!

Jim — who followed in his older sibling’s footsteps by starring on “Saturday Night Live” for two seasons in the ’80s — was hoping for a career change after playing a lazy, goodhearted dad on the ABC sitcom “According to Jim” from 2001 to 2009.

Jennifer was Jim’s third strikeout at the altar, too. The 63-year-old funnyman was previously wed to Marjorie Bransfield from 1990 to 1992 and to Sandra Davenport from 1980 to 1988.
