Al Gore is a secret electricity hog — The former vice president’s 20-room Tennessee mansion gobbles more juice in a year than the average American family uses in two decades!

His bills from the Nashville Electric Service reveal the finger-wagging Democrat devoured a monthly average of 19,241 kilowatt hours last year — compared to the average of 901 kilowatts per month for everyone else! From August 2016 to July 2017, his swimming pool alone consumed enough juice to power six typical U.S. homes for an entire YEAR!

“Al Gore’s unwillingness to practice what he preaches is the real inconvenient truth,” Drew Johnson, who probed Gore’s bills, told
The National ENQUIRER. “He claims 100 percent of the electricity consumption is renewable, but about half of it comes from the same fossil fuels he says are leading us all to our doom.”

Gore narrated the Oscar-winning 2006 documentary, “An Inconvenient Truth,” which called for immediate action to curb the destructive effects of global warning. Johnson’s report has landed as “An Inconvenient Sequel: Truth to Power” sounds the alarm again. A gushing promo blurb for the movie, which has tanked at the box office, declared: “Vice President Al Gore continues his tireless fight, traveling around the world training an army of climate champions and influencing international climate policy."

69-year-old Gore won the 2007 Nobel Peace Prize for spreading the word on climate change. “The only way to solve this [environmental] crisis is for individuals to make changes in their own lives,” he smugly said upon winning. But back home, his energy- draining, 10,070-square-foot mansion comes complete with five bedrooms, eight full bathrooms and two half-baths!

Shockingly, he’s apparently the lavish spread’s only occupant! He and wife
Tipper divorced in 2010. Gore also owns a San Francisco penthouse and a farm in Carthage, Tenn. “The statistic that grabs people the most seems to be the one about the pool,” Drew told
The ENQUIRER. “It’s just a level of consumption that most people cannot identify with. And this from a man who is telling us all to use less to avoid global doom!”
