Sex and the City Drama Resurfaces as Kristin Davis Details Alleged Pressure to Strip On Set
Sex and the City star and executive producer Sarah Jessica Parker was blindsided and furious over longtime costar Kristin Davis’ claim she was pressured to go topless during a season 5 scene.
“Sarah Jessica is not happy this is coming out now,” a source close to the actress says. “She’s not just the face of the franchise — she’s the boss. And this could seriously damage her image and the show’s legacy.”
In a tell-all interview, Davis, 60, recalled an infamous scene where she says she was pushed to strip down, despite her discomfort.
And while Parker scrambles to contain the narrative, another former costar is apparently feeling a sense of relief. “Kim Cattrall feels vindicated,” says a source close to the actress. “She’s been saying for years that things weren’t as fabulous as they looked on screen.”
