Miley Cyrus ‘Not Interested’ In Playing Peacemaker For Parents Billy Ray and Tish Cyrus (Exclusive)

Billy Ray Cyrus may be madly in love with Elizabeth Hurley, but he’s still obsessed with getting closure with ex-wife Tish Cyrus, a source tells the National Enquirer.

“He can’t seem to grasp that Tish isn’t in the same head space,” says the source. “Yes, she has moved on [with husband Dominic Purcell] and she’s very happy, but that doesn’t automatically mean all is forgiven or that she wants to play like they are one big happy family.”

Far from it.

“She’s made it very clear she has no interest in getting dragged back into Billy Ray’s orbit,” dishes the source. “She isn’t walking around angry, but she’d rather keep her distance”

The only person who might be able to sway Tish, 58, is daughter Miley Cyrus, says the source. “But she’s still working on her own relationship with her dad.”

Back in May, the “Wrecking Ball” singer, 33, revealed to the New York Times that she and Billy Ray, 64, are no longer estranged.

“I think I took on some of my mom’s hurt as my own,” Miley explained of their falling out. “But now that my mom is so in love with my stepdad, who I completely adore, and now that my dad, I see him finding happiness, too — I can love them both as individuals instead of as a parental pairing.”

“She’s not interested in playing the go-between for him and her mom,” adds the source. “Her focus right now is on rebuilding with him and getting to know Liz and she’s been very clear about that.”

And yet, “Billy Ray is still trying to talk her into it though,” says the source. “He’s like a dog with a bone.”
