Money Hunger Mark Wahlberg’s bank account has ballooned since he moved his family from Los Angeles to Las Vegas — but the movie stud’s bored wife, Rhea Durham, is begging for a U-turn, sources spill.
“She isn’t happy in Vegas and wants to move back to L.A. as soon as possible,” a tipster tattles.
The Planet of the Apes hero, 53, has claimed he ditched the City of Angels two years ago to provide a “better life” for the couple’s kids — Ella, 21, Michael, 18, Brendan, 16, and Grace, 14.
But sources snitch the box office hunk has also hit the jackpot because Nevada has no personal income tax!
“Mark and Rhea want to keep more of their money, and they want to grow their fortune by helping make Las Vegas into a real film and TV production hub,” the insider shares.
“Amazingly, it’s working. Mark is getting films made, and of course, they are paying lower taxes. They’re getting rich — but Rhea’s saying this is a temporary thing. She misses their old life in Southern California.”
But with Mark’s vision for a $1.8 billion Sin City film studio taking shape, he has no plans to pull up stakes, the spy squeals.
