Rogue agents for the CIA aggressively worked behind the scenes to thwart the investigation into President John F. Kennedy’s 1963 murder, according to newly declassified records that also expose other shocking agency secrets!

The dossier drop suggests intimidated witnesses were hesitant to reveal vital accounts implicating the culprits behind the tragedy, including one document that states a frightened individual sought “written agreements to ensure the safety of himself and his family!”

Other hush-hush agency scandals include how a Watergate burglar was linked to covert ops and that the CIA had connections to Israel’s spy agency Mossad — and even helped the Middle Eastern nation build a nuke!

An August 1966 CIA memo recommends a “certificate of distinction” for James McCord for leading a team that “conceived and developed” a way to “detect hidden technical listening devices.”

McCord was later named a security consultant for Republican President Richard Nixon’s reelection campaign — and was one of five arrested in 1972 for attempting to bug the Democratic National Committee’s Washington, D.C., headquarters in the Watergate complex!

The documents don’t reveal McCord’s role in the assassination investigation. However, the disgraced ex-officer served four months in jail for the infamous break-in.

The unearthed records also reveal how Mossad — which worked with CIA counterintelligence chief James Jesus Angleton — recruited a U.S. scientist to help Israel develop its nuclear arsenal!

“There were indications of a liaison between CIA officials and Israeli intelligence representatives, suggesting a level of cooperation and information exchange regarding sensitive matters, including nuclear capabilities,” one file states.

The documents also show the alarmed FBI was at odds with the CIA after discovering Mossad agents were gaining access to top-secret data — charging, “Israeli intelligence has sought to penetrate U.S. scientific and political communities” and raising the alarm about the suspicious “cooperation!”
