Richard Hatch was not a happy Survivor last spring when authorities removed his son from their home while investigating allegations of child abuse.
All charges were dropped against Richard, but that wasn’t the end of the story for the corporate-trainer-turned-reality-game-show-winner: Hatch filed a lawsuit against the Department of Children, Youth and Families for “violating his rights and damaging his relationship with the boy.”
But now a federal judge has thrown the suit out — saying the former Survivor failed to provide adequate evidence to support that claim.
“What this means,” Hatch told the Associated Press, “is that it’s legal in Rhode Island for the Department of Children, Youth and Families to abuse children.
