MILLS LANE SUFFERS STROKE

description

Judge/Referee Mills Lane was hospitalized this week after suffering a stroke.

According to reports, friends of the former judge and boxing champ found him unconscious in his Reno home on Monday morning. He was taken to a nearby hospital where he was listed as being in stable condition, suffering from speech loss and weakness in his right side.

“He has made progress,” reports Dr. Paul Katz to ABCNews.com. “The language is clearly the concern.”

Mills Lane was the referee in the infamous Mike Tyson vs. Evander Holyfield fight. He disqualified Tyson for biting Holyfield in the ear.
