Dennis Rodman was arrested over the weekend at his Newport Beach, California restaurant Josh Slocum’s.
Police were at the restaurant to investigate whether the restaurant was serving alcoholic beverages after 2 a.m. — a Business and Profession Code violation. When officers noticed cars in the parking lot of Rodman’s restaurant after 2 a.m., they tried to go inside to investigate but were stopped by Rodman, who would not allow them in.
Rodman, who is no stranger to the police of the beachfront town, was taken into custody on the charge of interfering with the duty of an officer.
Patrons inside the restaurant say that they were merely waiting to sober up before leaving the establishment, and that no laws were broken.
