In the heart of downtown Oshkosh, Wis., an historic industrial building has been transformed into a remarkable event space that brings the community together.

The Gibson Social Club, housed in the historic Gibson Tire Company building, is partnering with the Oshkosh Art Collective to host its fourth annual Art Show on April 12 from 6–10 p.m. The event will feature more than 30 artists, and a DJ will entertain, for an unforgettable evening of creativity and community.

Since opening in 2021, the Gibson Social Club has hosted more than 200 weddings, more than 150 events, and partnered with more than 50 local businesses. The venue also supports local charities by donating event space for fundraisers.

The space features three unique bars made from original wood, lounge areas, green rooms for hosts and brides, a large catering kitchen, two beautiful staircases, and easy access to local Airbnbs. The building was renovated in a way that retains its industrial charm, incorporating touches of Art Deco design and unique finishes.

Kristen and Eric Hoopman own the Gibson Social Club, part of their Elsewhere Collection, which includes the Elsewhere Coffee House and Market downtown Oshkosh and Camp Elsewhere in Waupaca, about 40 miles northwest of Oshkosh, among other properties. They have been renovating historic buildings in the area to bring people together and inspire others to love Oshkosh as much as they do.

For those who want a woodsy wedding experience, Camp Elsewhere offers a quaint cedar chapel, reception lodge, new cabins, renovated vintage shastas, and glamping tents from May through October.
