Elon Musk’s Daughter Vivian Wilson Claims She Has No ‘Inheritance,’ Plans to Go to Community College

Vivian Wilson is not relying on her billionaire father, Elon Musk, for financial support.

The model, 21, opened up about her finances and revealed she’s aiming to attend community college this fall while speaking to New York Magazine’s The Cut.

“College is expensive,” Wilson told the outlet in an article published Tuesday, September 2. “I don’t have that inheritance.”

“People assume I have a lot of money,” she admitted. “I don’t have hundreds of thousands of dollars at my disposal.”

Previously, Wilson attended school in Quebec, Canada, and then transferred to Temple University’s campus in Tokyo, Japan, but dropped out.

Wilson acknowledged that while her mom, Justine Musk — who was married to the 54-year-old Tesla founder from 2000 to 2008 — “is rich,” her dad is, of course, “unimaginable degrees of wealthy.”

However, that level of fortune — Elon has a reported net worth of over $415 billion —  is not something Wilson aspires to have.

“I don’t have a desire to be superrich,” she remarked. “I can afford food. I have friends, a shelter, and some expendable income, which is nice and much more fortunate than most people my age in Los Angeles.”

Wilson also told the publication she resides with three roommates in L.A. because it’s “cheaper.”

In the past, Wilson has been open about her fractured relationship with her dad, even calling him a “pathetic man-child,” in a March interview with Teen Vogue.
