Danica Patrick is encouraging Americans to vote in the upcoming midterm elections after spending time with President Donald Trump, but her enthusiastic message has sparked mixed reactions online.
Patrick, 44, shared a series of photos from her visit with Trump, 80, via Instagram on Wednesday, October 21, praising the president and urging her followers to support his administration by voting in November.
One photo showed the former NASCAR driver smiling beside Trump. Other pictures showed her aboard Air Force One, including a shot of her laughing as Trump spoke to a small group inside the plane.
“I wish you could all have just 5 minutes with @potus!” she wrote. “He is so easy to talk to and SO fun to listen to! He’s a great story teller… funny and obviously interesting. He is also very curious what your opinion is pertaining to any topic. And of course he is really into sports, which I love!”

She then turned her attention to the November 3 midterm elections, encouraging her followers to vote for candidates who would support Trump’s agenda.
“Our job was not done with the election 2 years ago. Big shifts take time and we have to keep showing up! Let’s help him and his amazing staff make the most of the last half of his presidency by getting out there and voting in 2 weeks! Keeping the house and senate ensure this rational and patriotic momentum keeps going!!!!!! 🇺🇸,” she wrote on Instagram.
Patrick added, “midterms matter 🗳️”
She also celebrated getting to travel aboard two presidential vehicles, writing, “But can we just talk about the fact that I got to ride on Air Force 1 AND in the Beast (for a 30 min ride?!)!!!! What a life. So grateful. 🙏”
Her post drew mixed reactions from followers in the comment section.
“This is not the flex you think it is. 😂,” one commenter wrote.
Another said, “And unfollowed,” while someone else responded, “Damn. This sucks. I named my daughter after you. Bummed ☹️.”
Even journalist Katie Couric weighed in on Patrick’s post, leaving a brief but pointed comment: “Ugh.”

Other commenters supported Patrick’s message.
“People who believe in freedom and the American dream. Wanting the best for all and so nice to see someone who gets it. Good for her! So nice to see something positive. Let the sunshine in,” one person wrote.
Another added, “So awesome! Love our President!🇺🇸”
Patrick’s support for Trump should come as no surprise. As the National Enquirer previously reported, she shared photos from an October 2025 dinner with Trump’s daughter-in-law Lara Trump and then-Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard. Patrick posted pictures of the group on Instagram, including one of herself flexing for the camera, and captioned the outing, “Just a casual Tuesday night dinner. 😜⚡️.”
