There’s a very good reason why Vicki Gunvalson isn’t quaking in her Louboutins over the tell-all book ex-boyfriend Brooks Ayers is trumpeting: He’s legally forbidden from writing anything about her!

Although Brooks, 48, is claiming his book will squeeze all the juicy gossip out of “The Real Housewives of Orange County,” Vicki, 53, isn’t sweating, says “Us Weekly.”

“Vicki is not at all concerned about her former boyfriend writing a book,” Vicki’s rep said in a statement. “He can write whatever he wants except he cannot write about Vicki, her career, family or anything else concerning her. Vicki long ago had the boyfriend sign a fiercely written and executed confidentiality agreement. He cannot write about her at all. That was signed in the very beginning [of their relationship].”

Earlier this week, Brooks promised Page Six he would reveal the truth behind the rumors that have virtually destroyed his reputation.

“I didn’t fake cancer,’ he said about reports he lied about having non-Hodgkin lymphoma. ‘Who in their right mind would fake cancer?”

Brooks laid the blame squarely at the feet of RHOC producers, saying they encouraged him to fabricate the health-woes story to boost ratings.

“They basically pitched me as this poor guy from Mississippi preying on a vulnerable, successful, self-made woman,” he added.

“I’m not bound contractually by anything to not share the intel about what transpires behind production, Bravo, what they try to do, etc.”

And, more importantly, Brooks says he means Vicki no harm — he just wants to restore his own good name.

“I want nothing but the best for her, and she wants the best for me,” he told Page Six. “I’m not doing this because she did it to me, but she’s a grown woman and she’s making business decisions to continue earning money. I’m a grown man, and I want to do what I can do to rehab my reputation.”
