Before RACHEL UCHITEL made headlines for her tryst with TIGER WOODS, she was photographed as the face of post-9/11 grief when her fiancé was killed in the World Trade Center attacks. Now she’s heading back to Ground Zero.
Rachel has left the sober living facility she has been staying at in Malibu with Celebrity Rehab‘s DR. DREW PINSKY‘s permission, a source close to the situation tells RadarOnline.com.
"Rachel and Dr. Drew visited Ground Zero last Thursday. The aim of the visit was to be completely cathartic for Rachel because her fiancé, James Andrew O’Grady, worked in the Twin Towers and was killed on 9/11. Rachel has told friends that was when her life began to unravel, after she lost James," the source told Radar.
Rachel said she had "a massive breakdown" two years after the 9/11 attacks.

UPDATE: Rachel tells The New York Post of her trip, "If people think I’m milking something for the benefit of getting on TV or getting more well-known, I’m already well-known." She added, "Who the f–k are people to be talking about me? Until they go through what I went through, living with a guy and being engaged to him and having that person dead an hour after waking up next to him … Nobody can f–k with me about 9/11."
